Was totally blindsided by the reverse split of a stock that seemingly happened without warning. Was holding a stock, and the next morning found out the split happened
I always monitor multiple split calendars, and also search SEC database using the "split" keyword for the tickers of interest. There was absolutely nothing there 24 hours before the split
How can I do a better job not missing the splits? Is there any SEC form that is filed, and that I can search for? Is there any rule how far in advance the splits have to be announced?
Tried to search for this info , but can't find anything.
Appreciate your help!
