Alpaca – stable enough for live trading?

I'm currently testing an algo that I plan to go live with in 2-3 months. I have an alpaca account and found their price streaming data to be 4-5 hours delayed, and hence unusable. I now use data with much better results.

The Alpaca streaming data experience has made me question whether I want to trust them with live trading. Their forums seem spotty – many questions go unanswered. I see posts there with concerns about fills.

I haven't invested much time in their API yet and before I do I want to get opinions from the group. Is Alpaca suitable for live trading? I'll be doing 20-30 trades/day, long positions only.

Suggestions for better platforms are welcome. I'm aware of TD Ameritrade and IB but haven't looked closely at either yet.
