So I've been snooping around this subreddit for a while, and as a CS student, algotrading seems like something that would be rewarding and extremely fun
Although, that being said, I'm trying to understand the prospects of it.
Is it possible to work on algotrading on your spare time? (how many hours a week do you guys spend researching / developing algos?)
How feasible is 100k/year in gains assuming you have put in consistent and appropriate amount of time and effort? Is it realistic?
Thank you! Hope to hear what you all have to say
